Southern Brazilian native, Max Poglia, currently resides and works out of New York. The community in which Max grew up in heavily relied on reclaimed materials and locally sourced goods which he puts into practice for his artisanal knives and accessories. Each knife is ethically produced in Southern Brazil, and uniquely constructed and finished by hand. The blades are sourced from reclaimed plows and require regularly cleaning as they aren't stainless. To compliment the blade each handle is constructed with either wood, ivory, or a mix of the two and finished with a brass cap. Even the sheath is constructed from natural leather which is sure to age gracefully along side the knife.
