A Different Black Friday

A Different Black Friday
Uncle Otis

It’s November and just like the past 3 years, we have decided not to participate in Black Friday. However, we have decided to continue our Community Fridge Donation Program! With the rising costs of groceries and Food Bank usage at an all-time high, it is more important now than ever to help our community.

Any patron that makes a donation of 5 non-perishable food items or more receives 10% off their next purchase* (some exceptions apply). We would also like to introduce our online donation program too! To receive 10% off your next purchase* “purchase” a $10.00 Donation to Community Fridges. When the donation is “purchased” we will promptly send an individualized code for you to use. Please note that there will be a few products and brands excluded from this promotion. We will update a list of those who participate online to keep us accountable.

We want to continue to focus on the support of our local community and the environment. Several of our independent labels make considerable efforts to minimize their environmental footprint within the industry. By upcycling and recycling they minimize the amount of waste that gets put into our waters and landfills. Shopping with Uncle Otis allows us to continually support these brands, in turn creating a positive feedback loop. These brands themselves support small local communities with fair wages and in turn a better standard of living.

We would like to shine a light on our local community and the diverse businesses that offer like-minded services and products. If you choose not to shop with us this Black Friday we urge you to support the businesses that make your neighborhood unique.

This year we have decided to introduce a handful of small independent businesses. Stay tuned as we highlight some shops and local artists

We are extremely appreciative of everyone’s positive feedback and support. It means the world to us and allows us to keep doing what we love.

Thank you.
