Please be advised that for all US and International Purchases Uncle Otis is not responsible for any Cross – Border fees (Customs/ Duties etc.) which may be incurred. Any additional fees after an order has left Uncle Otis are the responsibility of the purchaser. Here are the approximate delivery times.

Next day delivery orders must be placed by 11am to be received the next day. Orders receieved 11:01am on Friday to Monday 11am will be delivered by Tuesday. Please note that Next Day Services are only for Ontario and Quebec, all orders that do no qualify for Next Day Delivery will be charged the difference in shipping fee.

Additional Shipping Charges
All online orders may be subject to additional shipping charges depending on the weight, size, and destination. Your order will not be processed until the additional shipping charges have been processed and paid.

Methods and Disclosure

Risk of loss and title for merchandise shipped internationally will pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from, you are the importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. You authorize us to designate a carrier to act as your agent with the relevant customs and tax authorities in the destination country, to clear your merchandise and advance (on your behalf) any duties and taxes owed by you.

Refused Shipments – If you decide to refuse any shipments from, you are responsible for the original shipping charge to you, and the cost of returning the package to Uncle Otis. This amount will be subtracted from your store credit.


Please be aware that all store credit amounts will be calculated minus the original ship charge that was initially a courtesy from us.

What is our Return Policy for online orders?

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may send it back to us for an exchange or store credit but you must first request authorization to do so. Returns and exchanges are accepted within 7 days of receipt for items that HAVE NOT BEEN WORN, ALTERED OR WASHED, and with ALL tags attached. We do not provide refunds, no exceptions.

Footwear returns and exchanges must include the original shoebox in its original condition and without shipping labels on the shoe box. Damages to or omission of this box from your return/exchange may result in a fee.

Online store credit will be provided after a return authorization has been granted and the goods have been returned and evaluated for wear and damages. Online store credit is granted in an individualized code, it does not expire, and does not have to be used in one session.

Any item that is returned to Uncle Otis without authorization will be refused. Uncle Otis is not responsible for any additional shipping charges or duties incurred in the process.

Discounted Items

All items purchased at a discount are FINAL SALE. This includes seasonal sales and discount/promo codes.

How do I make a return or exchange?

Simply email us at or call 416.920.2281 and explain the reason why you would like to return your purchase. We will then issue you a return authorization. Securely pack and seal the return merchandise and invoice in an appropriate shipping box or envelope (ideally the original package would be sufficient), and send it back to us using an insured service to the return address. Insuring the package will provide you with recourse on your package, as we cannot accept responsibility for packages that we do not ship ourselves. We are not responsible for missing packages. Returns should be sent prepaid. We will not accept COD’s.

When returning your order, under “reason for return” fill in Damaged Goods or Defective Product. Any customs that are incurred to us will be deducted from the store credited amount (if applicable). For any further inquires please email

Processing of Returns

Upon receipt of returned merchandise, has the right to deny credits if the goods do not meet the return policy requirements. Exchanges are processed within 7 days after we receive the merchandise. Shipping costs will only be refunded when the return is a result of an error on our part. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from

Can I Return or Exchange an item purchased online to the Uncle Otis retail store?

Yes, you can return or exchange any item you bought on the site to our brick and mortar store. As long as it is within 7 days of the receiving date and the sales receipt is present. Please note that all release product is final sale. No returns or exchanges.

Price matching and adjustments

We sincerely appreciate your patronage and support. However, as an independent boutique, we do not have the volume to offer any price matching or adjustments. Promotions offered cannot be retroactively applied.


We can place regular-priced items on hold for 24/hrs or until the next business day. This entails being removed from the sales floor, unfortunately, we cannot remove the stock online. Online purchases supersedes holds.

We do not do any holds for discounted or sale items.
