This shirt features embroidery by Md Asshraf, a skilled embroiderer originally from Bengal. The embroidery on this variant uses a chain stitch technique called Ari, which is typically taught generation after generation. Before being stitched together, each panel made of khadi from Udyog Bharti is individually embroidered with a botanical motif.
These shirts crafted by Kardo are handcrafted, hand cut, stitched, and finished by traditional Indian tailors from beginning to end. The details of who was involved in each process are featured on a provenance tag on the interior.
