Kardo’s summer shirting is one of our favourite things to wear in the warmer months. Handcrafted, hand-cut, stitched, and finished from beginning to end by traditional Indian tailors, the details of who was involved in each process are featured on a provenance tag on the interior. Woven on a complex, skill-intensive 8-pedal handloom by master weavers from Bunkar in Bihar, this shirt is created by manually interlacing warp and weft threads, creating a waffle-like texture.
