A new cut for us, the Gulab is inspired by European peasant shirting and Kurta tunics, where both were focused on their comfort and roominess. The half-placket, inspired by Kurtas, meshes well with the pullover peasant shirts. The Gulab is woven by artisans working with Glocal Weaves; the handloomed fabric uses Kardo’s intricate “Extra Weft” technique. Each one is crafted by skilled artisans, making each a unique piece.
