The process involves a meticulous resist-dyeing technique in which the cloth is hand-tied with thread at multiple points before dyeing, producing intricate, organic patterns. Each piece is patiently made with natural dyes on fine cotton by artisans from Khamir Craft, an organization at the forefront of preserving Gujarat’s traditional textile practices.
