Taking cues from vintage N-1 deck jackets, the Macklow has retained the same waterproof qualities as Rooted in mid-century utilitarian design, the new FW26 Macklow Wax Jacket pays direct homage to the classic N1 Deck Jacket—originally developed for the U.S. Navy in the 1940s to shield sailors from harsh winds and freezing salt spray on battleship decks. Reengineered for modern versatility in Bark and Navy, it features the iconic shearling collar paired with a double-zip front and a button-down storm placket for heavy-duty weather protection. Tailored for daily utility, it offers two deep waist pockets, an easy-access midsection zip pocket, and adjustable hem drawstrings to lock out cold drafts. Tough enough for the coast, refined for the city.

Fabric Care
Wipe clean with a sponge and cold water only. Never machine wash, dry clean, or use detergent, as these strip the wax. Hang to dry naturally, away from direct heat. Re-wax when the finish looks dry, to keep it weatherproof. With time, the cotton develops a desired stylish patina that uniquely belongs to the wearer alone.
