The Amandola boot takes its name and spirit from a small mountain village in Italy, where daily life has long been shaped by the terrain. Designed after time spent in the Sibillini Mountains and conversations with local truffle hunters, this boot reflects the kind of footwear once worn for long days spent walking steep, uneven ground. Built using a classic Italian stitch down construction, the upper is stitched directly to a leather midsole before being finished with a Cortina sole, a method long favoured by shepherds and mountain workers for easy resoling. The upper is cut from Virgil leather, sourced from a long established Italian tannery and heavily oiled to age with depth and character over time. A veg-tanned leather insole shapes to the wearer's foot, and a hiking boot shank balances comfort with longevity. Designed to be worn with thick wool or hiking socks, the fit is intentionally roomy and runs large, staying true to its mountain boot roots while feeling right at home today.
